This year’s CAP project was an opportunity for student teams to work with local non-profit organizations. Student teams worked diligently in collaboration with community members to produce exceptionally high quality promotional videos.
We’ve adopted a new vision for projects: it’s all about the client. We shifted the locus of accountability to the client rather than to teachers. Our students worked hard to research and understand their client’s vision, and to make that vision a reality. More than any other project MAX students have done, this work demonstrates their interest and commitment to preparing themselves to be creative and contributing members of the world. They are truly learning what it means to be career-ready! Here is an example of some of their work. In the next few days, we’ll post a more thorough project descriptor, and more student work examples.
